Yea that’s been a question.. well the ban has been somewhat lifted as I said.. the thing is there is no clearcut lines that’s been set, so im not sure. Just being safe? As of now, it’s a lot about criticism and hate I assume. They’re taking it pretty slowly, one step at a time.
@TYbubu It has something to do with the political things between China and Korea I think, since in 2016?? China banned Kpop and Hallyu in China... but it was “somewhat” lifted I suppose.. But since they’re still not on good terms and the effect of the ban is still kind of there, SM Entertainment is extra careful ig because they might get trouble if they promote one group or soloist in both China and Korea.(Lay, WayV) They have to or tend to naturally be dissociated with their Kpop group when they start promoting in China. I might be wrong about all this tho!!
